# Join Voice Channel

The **Join Voice Channel** block lives in the **Voice** palette category. Join a specific voice channel.

## What it does

Join a specific voice channel.

## Configuration

Open the block in the builder sidebar to configure these fields.

### `channel_id`

**Type:** `channel`. Required.

Voice channel to join.

### `self_mute`

**Type:** `boolean`.

Join muted.

### `self_deaf`

**Type:** `boolean`.

Join deafened.
